August 14th, 2023 - Increased HOA The board approved raising the HOA fees to $399 due to rising costs of insurance and inflation in general everywhere. |
July 28th, 2023 - Upcoming Board Meeting IMPORTANT!!! This is a very important meeting. Please read the agenda. Please let us know if you plan on attending because we may move the meeting to somewhere airconditioned. If there is a new location, we will send out a second email. Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the Florida Statues and the By-laws of Middle River Homes Condominium Association Inc., that a meeting of the Board of Directors will be held at the Pool area of the Condominium property, in the city Of Oakland Park, Fl 33334 at the hour of 6pm on MONDAY, AUGUST 14, 2023, for the following purpose: I. Call to Order II. Calling of Role III. Reading of previous meeting minutes IV. Reports of Officers Treasurers Report V Unfinished Business THESE ITEMS WILL BE CARRIED TO THE NEXT MEETING: Rules and Regulations: enforcement and building by building maintenance. VI New Business: Anticipated insurance increase of 50% in 2024 (this year $156K, next year estimate $234K). Expected increase in monthly HOA fee and, or assessment.

July 13th, 2023 - Fire Marshal Violations Today we received many violations from the fire marshal because we have items in our meter rooms. If you have something in the meter room please remove it immediately! This includes garden tools as well. Nothing can be kept in the meter rooms. |
July 10th, 2023 - Tree removal We will be removing three dead trees later this week. One is by the trash dumpster at the 2912 Building, which is where the bike rack is. While the tree people will work around the bikes, it might be a good idea to move your bike for the time being. We had an arborist look at the trees as well as someone from the city. We have a city permit to remove the trees since they are dangerous if we have a storm. |

Reminders:
We have noticed that people have decided to modify the exterior of the buildings by putting up cameras, satellite dishes, etc. without permission from the Board of Directors.
This is a direct violation of the Condo Associations Rules and Regulations.
If you want to make modifications, Board Permission is needed in writing signed by either the President or Vice President of the Board.
If you are a contractor installing these items without written consent from The Board, you will be asked to remove them at your expense.
Otherwise, you run the risk of The Board having them removed.
Due to the number of new people in residence that have not been screened, owners and residents are going to be notified to have this situation rectified immediately.
